The Community Sustainability Project, Inc. is an Indiana 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation.  The CSP promotes programs, enterprise initiatives and community activities which promote sustainability in the great Goshen, Indiana area.

Farmer’s Market

Goshen Farmer’s Market is the CSP’s centerpiece initiative.  Located in the historic Mill Race Center, the Farmer’s Market supports sustainable agriculture, encourages environmentalism, promotes the local economy, and champions social justice.

Film Series

The CSP’s winter film series highlights topics on sustainability.  Films are shown monthly at the Old Goshen Theater.   The schedule can be found on our Film Series page.  Admission is a suggested donation of $3.  Some popular past titles include:

Educational Outreach

Education and community outreach are core principles of the CSP’s mission.  The CSP sponsors cooking and gardening demonstrations, community discussions, and guest speakers.  Recent highlights include appearances by popular author and agriculture activist Joel Salatin, and environmental economist John Ikerd

Community Initiatives

The CSP supports community initiatives, such as Goshen’s First Fridays and the Elkhart River Watershed Project, whose goals align with the CSP’s vision.
