ABOUT

ABOUT US
The Goshen Farmers Market mission is to create a viable market for locally-grown and crafted products in order to promote and educate about agricultural, environmental, economic and community sustainability.

Located in the historic Mill Race Center, at 212 W. Washington St. in Goshen, visiting the Farmers Market is easy!  We are close to the heart of downtown Goshen located off the Mill Race Trail by the Interra Credit Union.  Visit us year-round on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Tuesdays (May through October) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.  On market days, people of all ages and backgrounds come together to see friends, shop local farmers, listen to live music, and relax.  Find out what is in season at the farmers market here.

Community Sustainability Project

We are more than just great food.  The Goshen Farmer’s Market is a project by the Community Sustainability Project, an Indiana 501 (c)(3).

The Community Sustainability Project's mission is to foster local sustainable practices to connect our community through food, art, and education.  Our vision is to be a community hub where food and art converge, fostering creativity, learning, and a spirit of generosity, growing a brighter future for all.

Projects of the Community Sustainability Project include:

  • Goshen Farmers Market a year-round indoor farmers market focused on handmade, local, sustainable practices.

  • Fresh Food Therapy a ProduceRX program with Maple City Health Care Clinic.

  • Sprouts Kids Club which helps school aged children to try local foods, learn healthy habits and interact with farmers.

  • Double Up Indiana which helps SNAP recipients access fresh fruits and vegetables.

  • Share the Bounty program which helps support SNAP recipients and provides food vouchers.

Our 2024 Share the Bounty Program is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Elkhart County.
