Share the Bounty
The Goshen Farmers Market is committed to making healthy, local food accessible to the Goshen community. Our ‘Share the Bounty’ program enables individuals and organizations to subsidize fresh, nutritious food for low-income families. Over the past 8 seasons, we’ve provided almost $24,000 worth of produce to neighbors in need.
Support for ‘Share the Bounty’ comes from individuals, churches, non-profits and local businesses. These groups have the option of purchasing subsidized Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares for their members or providing vouchers to families and individuals for a basket of fresh food. The ‘Share the Bounty’ fund also enables the Market to match EBT withdrawals of SNAP benefits up to $10.
This Thanksgiving, we’re partnering with the Window, Maple City Market, and other local organizations to make nutritious food even more accessible. November 18 to 24 will mark the first ‘Share the Bounty’ Week and include a great lineup of events. Your financial support and participation will help us make the week a success and increase the reach of the ‘Share the Bounty’ program in the coming year.
Please support ‘Share the Bounty’ with a tax-deductible donation. Thank you!
