Share the Bounty

Share the Bounty Program
The Goshen Farmers Market is committed to making healthy, local food accessible to the Goshen Community.  Our 'Share the Bounty' program enables individuals and organizations to subsidize fresh, nutritious food for low-income families.
Double Up Indiana Program

Over the 2022 season, Share the Bounty was able to provide free of local foods to low-income residents in Elkhart County.  Our 2022 recipients included:

  • Vouchers for 50 Vista Community Health Center and Maple City Healthcare patients.  Dieticians from the clinic visit the market bi-weekly to help patients select produce.

  • SNAP (food stamp) withdrawals at the farmers market are matched up to $20 per day to help residents expand their local food purchases.

Our 2023 Share the Bounty Program will continue to provide matches up to $20 per day on withdrawals using SNAP benefits.

In addition to our Share the Bounty program we are launching Double Up at the Goshen Farmers Market in 2023!  SNAP customers will be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar match up to $20 per market day for fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fresh herbs, or edible plant starts!  Learn more about Double Up Indiana here.

Support for market programs comes from individuals, churches, non-profits, and local businesses.  We would love to have your help supporting this program.  Donations can be made here:
