Board of Directors
Community Sustainability Project
Julie Hertzler, a Goshen Farmers Market shopper since its early years, has a passion for supporting locally-grown, seasonal food. She is excited to be a part of growing awareness and accessibility of this local resource, and to be part of an organization that is creating a more healthy, sustainable community.
Matthew has been involved in gardening and small-scale farming for most of his life, including helping his parents start Sustainable Greens, one of the Goshen Farmers Market's long-established vendors. He is committed to promoting sustainable, regenerative agriculture that brings nutritious food to all.
Araceli joined the GFM Board in 2015. She was attracted to the idea of promoting the market to the Hispanic/Latino population in the area. Participating on the Board of Directors is a great opportunity to continue building health relationships in the community.
Michael and his family have been regularly shoppers at the Market since returning to Goshen in 2005. His spouse Jeanne Liechty is a former Goshen Farmers Market Board Director, and their son Conrad regularly works the Market desk.
Dirk was involved with the Goshen Farmers Market for five years on a professional level before joining the board. He is looking forward to continuing to assist with the finances and helping spread the word about the different programs the market has to offer.
