We are more than just great food.  The Goshen Farmer’s Market is a project by the Community Sustainability Project, an Indiana 501 (c)(3).  The Community Sustainability Project's mission is to foster local sustainable practices to connect our community through food, art, and education.  Our vision is to be a community hub where food and art converge, fostering creativity, learning, and a spirit of generosity, growing a brighter future for all.

Alex McIntyre

Director

Alex is passionate about connecting people and businesses to sustainable practices, whether that is at the Farmers Market or a Fortune 500 company. For finding ways to make a living with the land while avoiding externalizing costs to future generations. And, to help let the local terroir shine through.

Julie Hertzler

Director

Julie Hertzler, a Goshen Farmers Market shopper since its early years, has a passion for supporting locally-grown, seasonal food. She is excited to be a part of growing awareness and accessibility of this local resource, and to be part of an organization that is creating a more healthy, sustainable community.

Dirk Wolfer

Treasuer

Dirk was involved with the Goshen Farmers Market for five years on a professional level before joining the board. He is looking forward to continuing to assist with the finances and helping spread the word about the different programs the market has to offer.

Mattie Lehman

President

Mattie Lehman grew up shopping at the Goshen Farmers Market and lists it as one of the many reasons she decided to move back to the area. She loves mixing her environmental sensibilities with the work of creating a thriving community space for all to enjoy.

Michael Dickens

Vice-President/Secretary

Michael and his family have been regularly shoppers at the Market since returning to Goshen in 2005. His spouse Jeanne Liechty is a former Goshen Farmers Market Board Director, and their son Conrad regularly works the Market desk.
