Michael Dickens

Michael and his family have been regularly shoppers at the Market since returning to Goshen in 2005. His spouse Jeanne Liechty is a former Goshen Farmers Market Board Director, and their son Conrad regularly works the Market desk. Michael's mother, Marcay, practiced composting and sustainable gardening in Tennessee as well as Goshen, and Michael was a regular helper in her roughly 1/2 acre of various gardens and fruit trees. Some of the longer-term vendors such as Kate Lind of Sustainable Greens got to know Marcay during her time in Goshen and she is often brought up in discussions related to the Market. Michael still values his childhood gardening work and practices, and sees the Market as a valuable local resource that should be available to everyone.
