Laura’s business, Providencia Kitchen, brings a taste of Latin America to the Market. She joined us in February of this year, starting off her business with fresh handmade tortillas. Her business continues to grow — she’s introduced salsas, guacamole, and now drinks to her customers, with a warm reception.
Laura shared that she has something of a symbiotic relationship with others at the Market. “There’s great, fresh produce at hand here, and it’s fresher and higher quality,” she says, going on to mention that she’ll use some of what she buys at the Market in the next week’s products. They’ll stock up throughout the week, and then make everything on Thursday and Friday to make sure everything is as fresh as possible for the Saturday market.
